The founder of Vitality Personal Fitness Inc., Shayleen motivates her clients by encouraging them to exceed their physical goals and expectations.
With 15 years of experience as a physical therapist and an Elite-level personal trainer, Shayleen specializes in working with those recovering from injuries and surgery as well as training mature, seasoned athletes. She optimizes her clients’ wellness through a highly effective signature combination of scientific fitness principles that include personalization, periodization and functional-movement screenings.
Shayleen’s expertise of human movement and anatomy was honed through her study of physical therapy at Northeastern University. She has since trained clients for the Boston Marathon, the Danskin Triathalon, the AIDS Ride and, her favorite, a successful climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro. She has greatly impacted the effectiveness of her clients’ fitness through her proven theory of training smarter, then harder.
